I actually followed the Windows guide word for word, which is one of the
reasons I'm baffled. It seems that it's the Berekely DB package causing the
problem, not any ht* files. I've tried installing the 2.7.7 DB files, and
tried turning optimization off on everything while "make"ing (I've heard
that optimization breaks things in Windows sometimes). Does anyone know what
could cause the following error while running htsearch: (other than disk
space... I have 25 GB free...) "file size is not a multiple of the pagesize"

DB2 problem...: d:/inetpub/htdig/db/db.words.db: file size not a multiple of
the pagesize
0 [main] htsearch 412 handle exceptions: Exception:
STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
76665 [main] htsearch 412 stackdump: Dumping stack trace to
htsearch.exe.stackdump

The number (412) changes each time, but the error is always the same. The
database sizes are below (this is 10-30 pages indexed):

-rw-r--r-- 72704 db.docdb
-rw-r--r-- 2084 db.docs.index
-rw-r--r-- 58897 db.wordlist
-rw-r--r-- 81921 db.words.db

If I recompile the db with --enable-diagnostic, could anyone help at least
track down what's going on? (= I get the above error with htsearch on both
Win2k and NT, however I have additional DB problems while digging with
Win2k.

Thanks,
  Adam Lyon
