[htdig] How would I go about skipping URL query parameters while htdig'ing?

I'm working on an integration to a software package where I'll need to be able to drop session parameters from a URL.   How can I go about doing this?  There is very little information in the FAQ's or Archives with relevance with this.   Thanks. -- David J.
