Hello, ht-diggers,
I had htdig 3.1.5 running under Solaris 2.6, and was
very pleased with the search results -- but the
excerpts included snippets of Javascript and other
HTML code.
So I switched to version 3.2.0b3. I used basically
the same htdig.conf configuration file.
With 3.2.0b3, now the Javascript and other HTML stuff
is no longer excerpted -- but the search results are
very different! I.e., if I index and search the
same site with 3.1.5, I get very good searches; but if
I index and search with 3.2.0b3, the search results are
of much poorer quality.
How can I configure 3.2.0b3 to use whatever indexing
and/or searching algorithms 3.1.5 was using, so that
I get similar search results from the two versions?
