There isn't really any one person. At the moment, two of us (myself and
Gilles Detillieux) are serving as maintainers, which I guess is as close
to "in charge" as you're going to get.

You understand that ht://Dig is free software--it's licensed under the GNU
General Public License (GPL). No one is developing it with the intent to

We'd certainly be interested in hearing your algorithms. Certainly many
queries are misspelled and a fair number of words on the pages themselves
are misspelled. To this end, ht://Dig already supports a variety of "fuzzy
match" algorithms. So we'd be interested in how your particular approach
differs from what's already been used in the field. (Do you use trigrams?)
