With a subject line like that for openers, the stage should be adequately
set!
Heres my setup:
Sun Ultra 10; Solaris 5.6 - internal (company use only) web server
Apache 1.3.12
ht://Dig v3.1.5
The Apache server is a new version only - the machine has been in service
for
a couple of years. The ht://Dig is brand new as of 6/10/01; I have never
run it
before that time. The ".../rundig" script is launched (in "out-of-the-box"
configuration)
as a cron job at 0130 each day (hey, I said I was new at this!).
Here is the last few lines of the htdig.conf file, containing most of the
relevant
settings I have made for this site.

Its OK to ignore the PDF stuff for this discussion - thats NOT my problem!
So what is the problem? Well, aside from the fact that everything seems to
be running
fine... The first couple of days after cranking ht://Dig up, I could search
for the word
"javascript" and get 4-5 documents back as the results. Today (day three!)
when I
do the same search, I only get back one document!
1. Have the other documents gone away? Emphatically, NO. They are all
still in the same
places they were on days one and two.
2. Has the htdig.conf file changed? No again.
What am I missing? I'm sure it has to be something simple, I just don't
know what.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
