Total elapsed time depends on too many factors for me to give a meaningful answer. The only way to know what it'll be for your circumstances is to try it and time it. The htpurge step should be quite quick, even for a large db, though I expect it to be quicker still on a smaller db. The htmerge step would be more time-consuming. -- Gilles R.
