I think we'd need more details about the exact nature of the problem before
we could even guess at a solution. I'm guessing it's not a problem with
the SCRIPT_NAME environment variable, as htsearch does indeed seem to be
running for the followup pages.
Which version of htdig and htsearch are you using? What do the URLs look
like that are displayed when you point at the page buttons? You can get
a better look at them if you view the HTML source of the displayed results
page. Do the URLs remain the same when you click on them (i.e. does your
browser's "Location" window show the same complete URL, or is it changed
or truncated somehow)?
