I just tried to install htdig-3.2.0b3 on my ISP running Linux 2.2.19 and
configure gave me the following error:

configure: error: either specify a valid zlib installation with
--with-zlib=DIR or disable zlib usage with --without-zlib

I ran configure with --without-zlib and it complied and installed.
./configure --prefix=/home/sccwsc --without-zlib

But, when I ran bin/rundig to create the data base it got a segmentation
fault. Is it possible to run htdig with the --without-zlib option? Or
should I try to find the problem with zlib?

./rundig: line 36: 21061 Segmentation fault (core dumped)
$BINDIR/htdig -i $opts $stats $alt
htpurge: Database is empty!

./rundig: line 63: 21068 Segmentation fault (core dumped)
$BINDIR/htfuzzy $opts endings

Thanks,
Larry
