You didn't read my reply to you yesterday very carefully. In it, I said:
Generally, you can run "rundig" to start with. It will run htdig,
then htmerge, then htfuzzy, as needed initially.
That will build your database for you. However, before running rundig,
be sure you look over your htdig.conf file and make sure it's configured
to specify what you need for your site, especially the start_url.
Please take the time to read through the on-line documentation on
http://www.htdig.org/, where you'll likely find answers to many of your
questions about how to configure and run the programs that make up this
package.
