There's certainly enough flexibility in the external parser and converter
support that this could be done. But I don't know if the normal PDF or
Word converters output links. If you know of something like a Word->HTML
document converter that includes links, this would be quite useful to many
people.

I don't know of link checking programs that parse through PDF or Word
links. Of course the advantage of ht://Dig is obviously that the broken
link report comes as a "side-effect" of indexing the website. ;-)
