My web "root" page is /var/www/html/imsltd/imsweb which is where the
search.html page is, this is displayed no problem.
The "htsearch" file is in /var/www/html/imsltd/imsweb/cgi-bin

How do I tell HT:dig where the file is to get the system to work ?

The web root directory is not the same thing as the cgi-bin directory
(which is many times not at all inside the web root at all).

If you have a default RH 7.1 directory, I believe the normal place
for the CGI scripts is in /var/www/cgi-bin
