Thanks for the reply.

I could not get 2.95.x to compile on Tru 64 5.1.  But I could try
again.  I see there was a bug fix release of 3.0 yesterday, so I might
try that first.  I know there are a number of problems with the C code
on 5.1.  I will let you know how I go.

There are various issues with gcc 3.0. At the moment, I don't have 
the time to work out some issues between gcc 3.0 and the new C++ 
compiler and old libstc++ libraries on my machine so these issues may 
be unresolved for awhile.

I'd suggest using gcc 2.95.x for the moment.
