Sure. Common words result in many matches and of course in a phrase 
search, this is not so great. I don't think the current phrase search 
code is ideal and we do have better code coming. A new search 
framework is currently being fleshed out and offers the ability to do 
query caching, which would help "precompute" some recent queries.

I wouldn't be surprised if the current snapshots offer some 
improvements in this regard, but help in performance tuning is always 
welcome.
