Hello,
I'm running htdig on a series of domains, and despite the fact that I am
using the limit_urls_to list, htdig requested www.google.com, no part of
which shows up in my list.
I tested it on my own site, limiting it to the one domain explicitly, and
it seemed to work fine; however when I allowed it to expand its scope, it
started going too far. In addition to requesting www.google.com, it also
requested www.indymedia.org, which I can see because of the .indy in my
limit_urls_to list. Can anybody give me a clue as to why htdig requested
those domains, and what I could do to fix it?
I am using
ht://Dig 3.1.5 on slackware linux
with settings
limit_urls_to: .null .indy .glue .oss .geek .parody
exclude_urls: /cgi-bin/ /wp/ .cgi
maintainer: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and the rest of the settings unchanged from the defaults
If there's any other information you need, just let me know.
Thanks,
-Rhonda
