You're referring to a message I posted in August 2000, over a year ago,
and the development snapshots I mentioned in that message are long gone.
They don't stick around for all that long.  The whole point of the
snapshots is to get *recent* development work.  Since then, the 3.2.0b3
beta release has come out, and LOTS of bugs in there have been fixed in
recent 3.2.0b4 development snapshots.

All you need to do is "peel back" the URL, i.e. strip it down to the
directory above these files:

    http://www.htdig.org/files/snapshots/

and look in that directory for the most recent snapshot of 3.2.0b4,
i.e. htdig-3.2.0b4-090901.tar.gz is this week's most recent one.
