Well, my gut is telling me, if this is right in the URL of the link, that
it might be a problem with inconsistent settings of url_part_aliases and/or
common_url_parts between when you indexed and when you searched, particularly
if the total number of entries in either attribute has changed. It's hard
to say for sure. Here are a few questions that might help sort things out:
- what version of htdig are you using?
- on what OS, distribution, and hardware platform are you running it?
- if you've tried more than one version of htdig, are you sure that right
now all your databases are being created, updated and searched by the same
version of the software?
- have you made any changes to url_part_aliases and/or common_url_parts at
any time?
- if rebuilding your index from scratch is possible, does this make the
problem go away or does it persist?
The translate_amp, translate_lt_gt and translate_quot attributes are only in
3.1.x, not in the 3.2 betas, and they shouldn't affect other characters.
