No, but several people have mentioned that gcc 3.0.x gives various
warnings and errors on the code. (Though no one has been kind enough to
elaborate or send a list of the errors and line numbers from gcc STDERR.)
In this case, it looks like your assembler is choking on the gcc
output--maybe you should try the GNU binutils? (I don't remember if it
supports an assembler on Solaris.) It looks to me like a gcc problem, not
a code problem.
