Great!  I wonder if it didn't have something to do with the problem
with shared library support we had before.

Sure, just remember that the 091601 will disappear in a few weeks, so
perhaps you should just point people to the most recent snapshot in
http://www.htdig.org/files/snapshots/, rather than mentioning a specific
one, at least until the 3.2.0b4 beta release is out.
