Hi folks,
I know the plan is to allow phrase searching in 3.2 (which I *still*
contend should be called 4.0), but what about relevance ranking? In
my search log analyses, I find that most of the multiword searches
are for reasonable phrases, and that pages matching those phrases
should be given additional weight in relevance ranking. It's often
much better than TF/IDF ranking, because the page is much more likely
to be about the same topic as the query. Any plans to take advantage
of this?
