Well, obviously something is wrong with the binaries you built.  I'm still
guessing it's a problem with incompatible libraries getting linked in.
Maybe someone else on the list who's running Solaris can help out,
either by providing precompiled binaries or by helping you get the
compiler and libraries set up correctly.  In any case, it's out of my
area of experience.
