In a sense, yes. In the (hopefully) near future, the 3.2.0 code is moving to a new query parser contributed by Quim Sanmarti--it's currently used in the "qtest.cc" program in the htsearch/ directory. So the boolean_keywords will be implemented on top of this (and it will be easier than in 3.1.x). If you'd like to port this to the qtest framework, I'd certainly appreciate it.
