htdiggers... in a week or so i am going to add about 50 start urls into my single conf file for my class.
we will only use one search form on our start page. frankly, i'm not expecting a heavy content load but you never know (of course i don't i've never done this before;). before i ask: is this going to work? let me ask another question that i've been meaning to ask: for some reason, and i've forgotten why, i have moved (not copied) htsearch to my home/public_html/cgi-bin. i believe i did this, as well as a few other dir changes, etc. on installation of htdig, to make it work from my home dir on the school server, i.e., everything is in my home dir. i have tested to the following extent: i can search my own pages and as far as i know any other public www pages, e.g., htdig.org and others, including a students public site that resides on the same server -i use the urls, and i will use the urls, in the form of http://blah.blah.blah/ for every student url i add to the conf start url "list". so... will it work? :) suggestions welcome.
