INSTALLATION of both servers in question: Redhat 7.1 Apache 1.3.19 Htdig htdig-3.2.0-0.b3.4
I have 2 installations of htdig. 1 server works fine when I search on something that is not found. I have a second server that prints a blank page when the search does not return anything. The log files on the searches are strange because the one that works shows that the requested page was a "get" and it shows all the parameters that were passed. The log on the server that doesn't work has no query string and it is listed as a post. Both forms are identical and the apache configuration is the same as well are the cgi-bin permissions. Any thoughts? Any additional information I can provide? I didn't see anything in the FAQ and Google did not return anything useful.
