Pay attention to the list of language-specific attributes towards the end.
There are many attributes to change if you want a complete translation of
all messages.

To avoid your custom configuration and template files disappearing,
first of all make sure you back them up, but it also helps if you put
all your language-specific template and dictionary files in another
directory so they don't get replaced by an upgrade (particularly if you
use an RPM package for htdig).  You can do this by changing the setting
of common_dir in your configuration file.  The configuration file will
have to go in your CONFIG_DIR (where the default htdig.conf is installed),
but you can give it a different name or keep a backup copy.
