According to [EMAIL PROTECTED]: > what might be the most basic (if any) of email notification i might > want to set up for my htdig deployment? > or, so i might know if something major happens or if htdig "stops"?
This was an old question, which I don't know if it's still relevant or not. The ht://Dig package comes with the htnotify program, which I believe you're now aware of from other e-mails. In terms of determining whether something "major" happens, I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. htdig is meant to run silently by default, so you don't usually get much output even if it fails, but you can add as many -v options as you want in the script that runs htdig if you need to trace through its runs later on. -- Gilles R.
