I'm not sure what you mean by "choosing file extension". If you mean controlling which file extensions are included in or excluded from the htdig databases, there is the bad_extensions attribute to exclude certain file extensions, as well as valid_extensions to limit htdig to only these select few extensions. The "restrict" and "exclude" input parameters (or config attributes) can be used at search time to select which URL file name extensions are included or excluded from results. If you want to alter the appearance of search results based on file extensions, see the template_patterns attribute. See http://www.htdig.org/dev/htdig-3.2/confindex.html for descriptions of config attributes and see http://www.htdig.org/dev/htdig-3.2/hts_form.html for descriptions of htsearch input parameters. More recent versions of these two files are also available in the htdoc subdirectory of the 3.2.0b4 snapshots. Please look thoroughly through these and http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q1.15 before posting. The answers to most of your questions are right there in the documentation. Please use it, rather than the list, as your first recourse. -- Gilles R. Detillieux E-mail: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Spinal Cord Research Centre WWW: http://www.scrc.umanitoba.ca/~grdetil Dept.
