Ciao guys,

I have some problems with the rewrite rules feature ...

First, please tell me if it is possible to do this: I want to redirect
URLs with [dir]/index.htm to [dir]/ in order to remove the default
document from a duplicate indexing. Of course I am not sure if it is
possible, but as long as this is probably the most powerful way of aliasing
in ht://Dig, I wanna give it a go ... :-)

    I tried with:

url_rewrite_rules: (.*)index.htm \\1

but it does not work. I am pretty sure I misunderstood the mechanism of
this feature though ... :-)

Ciao and thanks!
-Gabriele

The nice thing about Windows is - It does not just crash,
it displays a dialog box and lets you press 'OK' first.
