This is my definition of a "wrapper," something that calls something
else and "wraps" the results.

You might want to take a look at the existing code in the contrib/
directory of your distribution, along with
<http://www.htdig.org/files/contrib/wrappers/>

That depends. Do you have this problem when you run rundig from the
command-line? Do you have problems if you run htpurge by itself from the
command-line? Are you running a beta of ht://Dig 3.2? Have you tried
looking at the output from htdig/rundig to see that sites were indexed
or looked at the size of the databases themselves?
