OK, why didn't you report these problems before trying a beta version? How did you install ht://Dig? Did you compile it from scratch? (if so, what compiler? What OS?) If you're installing a binary, what are you using? > htdb_dump.exe htdig.exe htload.exe htpurge.exe > htdb_load.exe htdump.exe htmerge.exe htstat.exe > htdb_stat.exe htfuzzy.exe htnotify.exe rundig I'd guess that you're using some version of CygWin on Win2K? Some people have had great success with this and some have had these DB2 problems--often these seem to be tied to a particular version of CygWin, but usually someone will report the problem and never help us nail down the particulars. So here's what would really help: 1) What version of CygWin you're using. 2) What compiler you used to compile ht://Dig. 3) Could you try a newer or older version of CygWin? 4) Have you installed typical Win2K updates and patches? -- -Geoff Hutchison Williams Students Online http://wso.williams.edu/ _______________________________________________ htdig-general mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, send a message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with a subject of unsubscribe FAQ: http://htdig.sourceforge.net/FAQ.html
