OK, why didn't you report these problems before trying a beta version? 
How did you install ht://Dig? Did you compile it from scratch? (if so, 
what compiler? What OS?) If you're installing a binary, what are you 
using?

I'd guess that you're using some version of CygWin on Win2K? Some people 
have had great success with this and some have had these DB2 
problems--often these seem to be tied to a particular version of CygWin, 
but usually someone will report the problem and never help us nail down 
the particulars.

So here's what would really help:
1) What version of CygWin you're using.
2) What compiler you used to compile ht://Dig.
3) Could you try a newer or older version of CygWin?
4) Have you installed typical Win2K updates and patches?
