What version are you running. Older 3.2 betas had problems with the handling of limit_urls_to and other attributes that supported regular expressions. If you're using a 3.2 beta, try the latest 3.2.0b4 snapshot from http://www.htdig.org/files/snapshots/ If you're already using that, or a 3.1.x release, then make sure your limit_urls_to attribute is set correctly. By default, it takes on the value of start_url, but can be overridden as needed. -- Gilles R.
