Hi,
I have the following problem using ht://Dig: The task is to set up an extended search with various fulltext-fields, which relate to a specific part of the searched pages (very structured project pages). The current solution is, to insert a meta tag in the pages which hold a coded form of the specific part that should be searched example: <meta name="colors" content="RyEyD YyEyLyLyOyW"> <meta name="users" content="JqOqHqN RqEqEqD"> (on colors the delimiter between chars is 'y', by users it is 'q') For searching a similar coded string is generated and then passed as "keywords" to htsearch. It seems, that searching this way only allows exact matching, because if some parts of the above strings (example: 'YyEyLyL0') are passed it returns no results. Is this true? Why? Is there an other (better) way to do the mentioned task? Thank you in advance for any helpful statements!
