Boolean searches are one of 3 methods in which htsearch queries can be specified, the other 2 being "and" (all) and "or" (any) which imply a boolean search with "and" or "or" operators interspersed between each search word. Phrase searching is another matter, although future versions of htsearch (3.2 series) may support phrase searching as a search method. For now, only the 3.2 beta releases of htsearch support phrase searching, and it's selected by putting double quotes around the search terms.
