Hi.  I don't think anyone ever got back to you about this.  Normally,
htsearch does highlight words in excerpts, whether they're an exact
match or a fuzzy match.  I don't know why it's not working for you.
Which version of htsearch are you running?  If it's not 3.1.6, give that
a try.  If it is, perhaps you could show us what your search_algorithm
setting looks like.

One possible problem would be if your locale is one that uses something
other than "." as the decimal point, and the atof() function on your
system is locale-aware.  In that case, if you have fractional weights
for your fuzzy match methods in search_algorithm, but you use a decimal
point rather than a comma, it would make htsearch see the weights as 0.
Try using a comma instead.  This will only work in 3.1.6 or recent
3.2.0b4 snapshots.
