I keep getting this error during rundig:

[root@ragamuffin htdig]# rundig -c /etc/htdig/junk.conf
/bin/sort: write failed: /var/lib/htdig/sortYk7NqL: No space left on device
htmerge: Word sort failed

I searched the archives and found a reference to TMPDIR, which I set, to no
avail:

[root@ragamuffin htdig]# echo $TMPDIR
/usr/htdig

I also set directory_dir, in my configuration file, to /usr/htdig.

/var and /usr are each mountpoints, so I don't think there is any symbolic
link weirdness going on...

What do I have to set to change where the sort file is written? It has to
be coming from htdig, as /var/lib/htdig isn't exactly a typical choice for a
TMP type variable...

thanks,

janine
