Thanks Geoff.

I am running on X86 architecture. I will try 3.2 and let you know what
happens in a couple of days. Would you recommend 3.2.0b3 or b4? This
is a production server. I had tried 3.2.0b4-001302 earlier and had
problems with Segmentation Fault and you recommend I go back to 3.1.6:

Thanks for your input!

I'm assuming that you mean you're running on x86/Linux. For the most
part, these are still vulnerable to the 2GB file limit, which you have

indeed run into. This is not an ht://Dig or database issue for the most

part, it's a filesystem/OS/library issue. AFAIK, the BSD variants on
x86
do not have 2GB limits, nor do Solaris, HP-UX, etc. IIRC, it's never
been a problem on Alpha-Linux or SPARC-Linux.

You may actually find better luck with 3.2 since it does not use the
ASCII db.wordlist and the wordlist itself is compressed. But I can't
promise it'll fix the 2GB limit.
