I did correct my settings, and have most up and running. However I stiil have a couple of problems making it 'state of art' :-)
Thank, I mistakenly had got the impression that it was possible ti 'dig all files locally' but I now see the point. However I made a searchdummy.html including all files in the web-rootdirectory as <a href...> tags. and put that url into url_start. This file is indexed, but not its referenced files. ?? However if I rename it to index.html, it works. !! I would rather keep my original index.html, as it is maintained by the webmaster, and stick to maintain the searchdummy.html myself. I can't make synonyms work. here is what I've tried: -----cut'npaste: [root@WebSrv /root]# htfuzzy -v synonyms htfuzzy: Selected algorithm: synonyms htfuzzy/synonyms: 0 htfuzzy/synonyms: Done. htfuzzy: Done. ---- and my synonymfile: [root@WebSrv /root]# cat /var/www/html/htdig/synonyms win98 windows windows98 windows acu amtscentret amtscentralen Amtscentret amtscentret Amtscentralen udlnsafdelingen ekspeditionen skolesamlingen info ekspeditionen IT-afdelingen it IT IT It-afdelingen ---------------- P'se bare over if I'm too thickheadet, but I'm on new roads, and as 4times grandfather, a very slow driver :-) finn ------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: ThinkGeek at http://www.ThinkGeek.com/ _______________________________________________ htdig-general mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, send a message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with a subject of unsubscribe FAQ: http://htdig.sourceforge.net/FAQ.html
