Sorry. Bad advice on my part. The description_factor affects the
weighting of description text, and you were looking for a way to
remove that text altogether. I'm afraid I don't know how to
accomplish this if you want other text on the page indexed.

I am not sure why this is happening. The ignore_alt_text attribute
has always worked as expected in my experience.

Which 3.2.0 beta are you using? If it is 3.2.0b3, you should try
one of the recent snapshots available at
http://www.htdig.org/files/snapshots/  The 3.2.0b3 release is old
and has a number of known bugs, which have been fixed in more
recent snapshots.
