You said "when I search," but have you reindexed? If you have, try running htdig with a -vvv flag and take a look at the headers it's receiving and the process of parsing a date. > 2) When I use -m on htdig I don =NOT= want to use -a too right? -m > just appends to an existing db? I just run htmerge after the dig > correct? You can use -a and -m together. They're not dependent on each other. Personally, I always use -a when indexing as I want to allow people to continue searching while the indexing/merging completes. I also like having backup copies--if something goes wrong with the .work files, I can just delete them and start again with -a to index from scratch. -- -Geoff Hutchison Williams Students Online http://wso.williams.edu/ ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Stuff, things, and much much more. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ htdig-general mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, send a message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with a subject of unsubscribe FAQ: http://htdig.sourceforge.net/FAQ.html
