[htdig] Program failing

Hello,   I have been asked to find out why the following errors are occuring:   FATAL ERROR:Compressor::get_vals invalid comptype FATAL ERROR at file:WordBitCompress.cc line:827 !!! /usr/bin/rundig: line 36: 13737 Segmentation fault      $BINDIR/htdig -i $opts $stats $alt /usr/bin/rundig: line 81: 13753 Segmentation fault      /usr/bin/htfuzzy -v metaphone /usr/bin/rundig: line 82: 13754 Segmentation fault      /usr/bin/htfuzzy -v soundex This program has run with no problems forthe past year or so and only failed last week. There have been no changes made to server or the software version. I did try reinitializing the database and after two attempts (the second did not initialize the database but used the one created in the first run) the program appeared to function correctly. A subsequent cron run produced the errors above. This company is no longer paying me to do work for them but they want me to fix this problem (I did not do the initial install and am not responsible for it in any way). So any help to a "quick" solution would be greatly appreciated.   Don Griffey
