This doesn't mean you can't set up a local webserver. If you have Apache, you can set access only from a particular IP (i.e. your IP or 127.0.0.1 for localhost). Apache will gladly create the directory indexes. > Also, I'm sort of trying to get away from creating a huge file full of > links so that htdig can index them. ... > If possible - how so? If not - any recommendations? Well, the one suggestion I'd have is to try a snapshot of 3.2.0b4, which will handle file:// URLs, including generating directory indexes on-the-fly. <http://www.htdig.org/files/snapshots/> -- -Geoff Hutchison Williams Students Online http://wso.williams.edu/ ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek PC Mods, Computing goodies, cases & more http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ htdig-general mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, send a message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with a subject of unsubscribe FAQ: http://htdig.sourceforge.net/FAQ.html
