Not really. If you only run "htdig," then you'll never get searchable 
databases since htmerge hasn't been run.

Running "rundig" or better "rundig -a" will at least make sure you have 
working databases. The documentation does say "to rebuild from scratch 
every night" and "other sites will run more elaborate update scripts."

Now perhaps there should be a link to the rundig.sh update script, but 
IMHO the documentation is exactly correct. If you can think of a better 
way to say this, please let us know and we'll change it.
