Not really. If you only run "htdig," then you'll never get searchable databases since htmerge hasn't been run. Running "rundig" or better "rundig -a" will at least make sure you have working databases. The documentation does say "to rebuild from scratch every night" and "other sites will run more elaborate update scripts." Now perhaps there should be a link to the rundig.sh update script, but IMHO the documentation is exactly correct. If you can think of a better way to say this, please let us know and we'll change it. Thanks for your suggestion--we really appreciate documentation checks. :-) Cheers, -Geoff -- -Geoff Hutchison Williams Students Online http://wso.williams.edu/ ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ htdig-general mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, send a message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with a subject of unsubscribe FAQ: http://htdig.sourceforge.net/FAQ.html
