Nothing like what you describe; however there are ways to keep
parts/all of a given document from being indexed. For example,
see http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q4.15

Also, if there are specific words you just don't want/need to
have indexed, you could add them to the bad_words file in the
common directory.
