hi list-members, problem description (i just want htdig to index the content - but i cant use no_index): -i've got an huge, dynamic, php-driven webpage with content(articles,news,images...)- and navigation(the links to the content) elements on it (there are content-elements in the middel- and in the navigation-section => a wild configureable mix) - htdig index is generated every night -htdig needs the navigation-elements to find the content-elements (which i only want to index) -hdig will find no content when i use no_index to stop indexing the navigation elements (because the links to the content are hidden)
my possible? solution: htdig should spider(crawl?) all pages but should only index the parts of the pages which are between <!-- content_start --> and <!-- content_end --> (every content-element has this start- and end-comment) is this possible? other solution? ciao dennis (from germany) -- GMX - Die Kommunikationsplattform im Internet. http://www.gmx.net ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: Dice - The leading online job board for high-tech professionals.
