My HTDIG log reporting tool is coming along nicely. However, I have one question for the htdig users out there. Have any of you ever configured an external app like syslog to insert the proper year into the log file
the current entries look like : Sep 9 02:25:54 lex-linux-2 htsearch[6673]: 12.222.245.16 [map] (and) [usa] [usa] (139/50) - 1 -- http://www.churchworldservice.org/map/index.html However, I need a year to be inserted in order to properly process the logs. One option I see is just to have syslog hand off the log processing to an external application. I just wondered if there was a quick/simple fix for getting the year inserted.
