Very odd. It seems that when you display the 2nd page, htsearch isn't
properly parsing the query string. What is the htsearch URL, as displayed
in the browser's "Location" window, both before and after you click on the
button for page 2?

Typically, it would be something like:

  http://mysite/cgi-bin/htsearch
or
  http://mysite/cgi-bin/htsearch?words=myquery&method=and&config=htdig
or

http://mysite/cgi-bin/htsearch?method=and&format=builtin-long&sort=score&config=htdig&restrict=&exclude=&words=myquery

for the first page of results, and:

  http://mysite/cgi-bin/htsearch?restrict=;config=htdig;method=and;words=myquery;page=2

for the second page. If the part before the "?" doesn't match for all
pages of results, then it may be that you're running 2 different versions of
htsearch in 2 different locations. In any case, what version of ht://Dig
are you running? Are you using any wrapper scripts or PHP front-end to
htsearch?
