Good to know.  
When I put in the full path I get "!   UNABLE to convert" which is
consistent with the doc2html.pl error.

Unfortunately, doc2html.pl can't handle relative file names, as it does a
chdir during its execution (a rather unfortunate and unintuitive thing to
do).  So, the first argument to doc2html.pl must be the fully qualified
pathname for the file, starting from the root directory.  E.g.:

$ doc2html.pl /var/www/html/IntranetROI.doc application/msword
