The logical place to start would be to look at your start_url setting,
and try fetching that URL from a browser on the same machine as you
run htdig.  It seems to me that all htdig is finding and indexing is
a single HTML page with that very error message, no doubt generated
dynamically on your web server.  The error message doesn't originate
from any programs in the ht://Dig suite.
