I can't reproduce this on my system with htdig 3.1.6. I've set... exclude_urls: .php and htdig rejects all the following URLs, indicating the reason for rejection (in htdig -vvvv output) as "Item in the exclude list: item # 1 length: 4". http://www.phpbb-fr.com .../phpBB2/posting.php .../pppBB2/posting.php - in case the first "php" threw it off .../phpBB2/posting.php?stuff=yup > I know that I can use exclude_extension, but my wish is to exclude > ".php?" only... There is no exclude_extension, but "bad_extensions: .php" would work to exclude all files with extension .php, whether there is a query string after it or not. However, if your wish is to exclude ".php?" only (i.e. reject all .php URLs followed by a query string) then... exclude_urls: .php? should do the trick. If you run into problems with this, try running htdig -vvvv to see what's going on as it encounters these URLs. -- Gilles R.
