I am having some trouble understanding why some of my htm files are not being indexed.
I'm moving the site to a new design and leaving old documents temporarily intact for search engines (google, etc.) Try a search from the old page and the new page for "state farm names" and you will find that the following article is found on the old but not the new. conf files are practically identical. article title State Farm Names Texas' Worst Intersections-One Makes U.S. Top 10 List http://www.insurancejournal.com/magazines/southcentral/2001/07/09/features/18607.htm Old Page: http://www.insurancejournal.com/html/ijweb/publications/IJTexas/t070901/ijtexas.htm New page: http://www.insurancejournal.com/magazines/southcentral/2001/07/09/ I have no idea why this is - since all articles are now generated off a database and use the same template (which makes use of the <noindex> tags). htmerge also deletes several of my key pages - citing "no excerpt" Thanks, Josh __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
