Probably not recently.

If you do a full backtrace "bt" in GDB, what do you see? Have you tried 
compiling and running with no optimization?

make clean; make CFLAGS="-g" CXXFLAGS="-g"

Unfortunately, with optimization turned on, debugging is difficult at 
best, since line numbers may be incorrect.
